Dear Habbo,

Habbo Hotel is a pretty cool place to hang out, but there are some meanies. These nasty people want to steal your furni, Habbo Friends and more!.

By reading about how these scamsters work, you can make sure you don't fall for their tricks. Bookmark this page to keep one step ahead.

Is scamming against the law? Yes it is! This is why:

  • If you use someone else's Habbo to get into the hotel (without asking) you are breaking the law. It's called 'unauthorised entry'.We will ban you forever and you could even be arrested.

  • If you set up a scam website using Habbo Hotel graphics, or make out that it's an official Habbo Hotel site, you are breaking the copyright laws. You will be banned forever and you could be arrested too.

  • If you scam the Habbo Credits Line, you are committing fraud - another crime you could be arrested for and definitely banned forever for.

Don't forget, if you've been scammed and can't get into the hotel, we can help. And if you know of someone who's scamming, send us a report. See the bottom of this page for details.
